Why Am I a Word Warrior?

If you’re new to following Word Warriors… we are SOOO glad you’re here.

On this beautiful morning, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and how this whole thing got started.

My name is Kate Elmore and I am a Word Warrior. Over the last four years, I have been diagnosed with cancer, underwent major surgery and radiation, diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases and gave birth to two babies who are now healthy and wild little humans.

I had a great job for a decade. Loved the people I worked with, great benefits, compensation, etc. But at the beginning of 2020, I heard the overwhelming quiet voice from God it was time to step away. To take care of myself better and to do something that allowed me to share my story of suffering, healing and restoration.

I started an online shop in December of 2020 with the goal of making everyday things you use with scripture on them. [My husband (Chase) started a Machining and Woodworking Shop a few months earlier]. Chase makes all of the wood items you see in our shop by hand and they are BEAUTIFUL!

We believe that meditating on God’s promises heals you, gives hope, and gives life.

So Word Warriors was born with the mission of: Using the Word of God to Fight Our Everyday Battles 💪🏼🏹

Moving forward, I want to help others and give back the way people did for me when I was struggling. I will no longer be defined by my weaknesses, but by my strength which is from God and his Word.

Hence, I am a child of God and a Word Warrior.

Please feel free to introduce yourself below and/or send me a DM! 🙋🏻‍♀️ #fridayintroductions

Here is a reel I made recently that is the most brief snippet of the journey my family and I have been on the last few years. Hope it encourages you!

  • Thanks for sharing. I have used God’s Word as a tool to come out of depression. My husband is still here because of prayer and the Word of God. I love your spirit. Thanks for listening to God’s voice. I know my gift is encouragement, so I will be praying for you and sharing your products. I know Chase’s family. I worked with his dad at United Technology, finished school with his step mom, Debbie. I have know his mother Cindy for years. If you have any specific prayer requests just let me know. Have a great week.
